Press Quotes from the Ninth Annual Richmond Choreographers' Showcase:

“A wide variety of strong dancing and intriguing choreography defined the ninth annual Richmond Choreographers Showcase at the Grace Street Theatre on Saturday and Sunday. Although it's called the Richmond Choreographers Showcase, that might refer to the location of the production rather than the origin of the choreographers...The showcase featured 10 distinct works by 11 choreographers, companies and partnerships. This many dances on a program usually leave the viewer in a fog, but not this time”

-Julinda Lewis (Richmond Times Dispatch)

“Any event that gets new work by contemporary choreographers on the stage deserves a thumbs-up. For nine years, Starr Foster Dance Project’s Choreographers Showcase has been doing just this for local and out-of-town artists.”

 -Lea Marshall (Style Weekly)
