Baggage (and the
Seven Deadly Sins)
Saturday, June 20th, 2009
Gallery 5, 200 West Marshall Street, Richmond Va.
7pm and 9pm---2 shows only!
$10
An unusual and curious dance experience, Baggage (and The
Seven Deadly Sins) will be performed with the audience encompassing the
dance. Based on the idea that the seven mortal sins destroy a life of grace
and create a threat to eternal damnation, each dancer is bound to a suitcase
which represents their own personal sins. Baggage (and The Seven Deadly
Sins) develops into a whirlwind of chaos as the dancers struggle to manage
and cope with one another while keeping their emotional baggage undisclosed.
